Summary

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process and Operations Excellence Engineer to join our Tantalum Innovation Center located in Simpsonville, SC. This onsite role involves leading and supporting initiatives crucial for driving operational efficiency, process optimization, and continuous improvement throughout our manufacturing organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain metrics and indicators to demonstrate process control and yield improvement.
• Gather and analyze data to support efforts in cost reduction and efficiency enhancement.
• Work within a cross-functional team environment to ensure the scheduled delivery of high-quality components.
• Commission and qualify new equipment and technologies as required.
• Collaborate with equipment engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and sustainability of changes.
• Support digital transformation and automation initiatives to streamline operations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 0 - 5 years of relevant experience is desired.
• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Minitab, and Power BI.
• Ability to lead projects both independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Exceptional teamwork skills, including a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a sense of urgency in completing tasks and projects.
