Role Overview

The DevSecOps Engineer BQA NATO serves as a vital bridge between development, operations, and security. This role is focused on building, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that adhere to strict NATO, BQA, and high-security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure
• Integrate security controls, scans, and audits into deployment workflows
• Automate compliance checks, vulnerability scanning, and remediation processes
• Develop Infrastructure as Code templates with secure defaults
• Harden systems, environments, and services to stringent security standards
• Monitor, respond to, and analyze security incidents in production
• Conduct threat modeling, security reviews, and risk assessments
• Document security architecture, processes, and incident analyses
• Collaborate with external auditors, compliance teams, and stakeholders

Mandatory Requirements

• Over 5 years’ experience in DevSecOps, infrastructure, or cloud security
• Experience in NATO/defense/BQA high-security domains
• Expertise with AWS, Azure, or GCP and secure networking fundamentals
• Proficiency in container orchestration, serverless, and microservices
• Mastery of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions
• Skilled in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
• Experience with vulnerability scanning, risk assessments, and penetration test integration
• Strong incident response and monitoring skills
• Excellent communication in English
• Based in Europe with legal eligibility for defense contracts

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, AWS/Azure Security and experience with real-time systems or classified environments are advantageous.
