Role Overview

As a DevSecOps Engineer - BQA NATO Contract at Kats Recruitment, you will be the bridge between development, operations, and security. You will build, deploy, and maintain secure infrastructure and pipelines adhering to NATO and BQA standards. Your role is key in leading security automation, enforcing compliance, and integrating security within all systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.
• Integrate security controls and automated scans in workflows.
• Automate compliance checks, vulnerability scanning, and remediation.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code templates with secure defaults.
• Harden systems to meet strict security standards.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and analyze threats.
• Conduct threat modeling, security reviews, and risk assessments.
• Document security processes and engage with external auditors.

Mandatory Requirements

The candidate must have at least 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, infrastructure or cloud security in regulated or defense environments. Prior exposure to NATO, defense, BQA, or similar high-security domains is required. Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms, CI/CD tools, container orchestration, and security automation is essential. Additionally, you should be proficient in system hardening, threat modeling, incident response, and compliance standards. Excellent English communication skills are a must.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with NATO/BQA security projects.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, AWS/Azure Security.
• Experience with real-time systems or network-level security.
