Summary
The Help Desk Technician provides first-line support to end users working with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Alteryx.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the first contact for BI tool issues via ticketing, email, or phone.
- Assist with login, access, permissions, and connectivity issues.
- Troubleshoot report/dashboard issues and data refresh failures.
- Document issues, resolutions, and escalation processes.
- Collaborate with Tier 2/Tier 3 support and BI development teams.
- Monitor scheduled reports and support new user onboarding.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
- 3-5 years in an IT help desk or technical support role.
- Familiar with Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx and basic data visualization concepts.
- Experience with AI related tools and ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Jira.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with building or modifying Power BI or Tableau reports.
- Familiarity with Alteryx workflows, SQL basics, and cloud-based BI deployments.
- Exposure to ITIL frameworks and enterprise-scale BI environments.

Salary Range: The role offers a proposed range from $108,000 to $115,000 USD, subject to experience and qualifications.
Clearance: Eligibility to obtain a security clearance is required.
Location: Applicants must reside in one of the specified US states and be authorized to work in the United States permanently.
