Job Overview

The Operations Cost Analyst role at Kao Corporation involves identifying business solutions to minimize operational costs, capital spending, and inventory. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance Operations, you will analyze product costs, variances, fixed overhead costs, and identify opportunities for cost improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and understand manufacturing issues and associated costs.
  • Develop solutions based on product cost analysis.
  • Work across Operations on cost budgets and new product costing.
  • Aid in month end/annual close and reserve establishment.
  • Collaborate with team members in Operations and Finance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 3 – 5+ years of experience in cost or financial analysis.
  • General knowledge of accounting/transactional systems.
  • Product cost analytical skills, preferably within the CPG industry.
