The Role: Strategy Consultant - Media & Creative
We are actively seeking a Strategy Consultant to enhance the Media & Creative team in Amsterdam. This pivotal role offers the chance to collaborate with leading global brands, develop data-driven media and creative strategies, and significantly contribute to high-impact projects across various markets. This position is ideal for a professional ready to deepen their expertise in marketing and media, while independently managing client relationships and delivering actionable insights.
As a Strategy Consultant, you will work closely with advertisers, agencies, and internal teams, transforming complex research findings into practical, strategic recommendations. Your responsibilities will include guiding clients through initial intake discussions, conducting thorough analyses, and presenting impactful results that shape key brand and communication decisions. The role demands a high degree of ownership, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to craft compelling narratives from data.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships, overseeing research design, execution, and delivery from inception to completion.
- Develop structured reports that provide clear, insightful recommendations for brand and marketing teams.
- Identify new commercial opportunities and actively support client growth through proactive account management.
- Lead intake meetings, briefings, and client presentations, offering confident and informed strategic perspectives.
- Represent Kantar as a Brand & Cross-Media specialist in both national and international forums.
Profile Requirements
- A relevant academic background is required.
- 3-7 years of experience in marketing, research, or consultancy.
- Familiarity with research data and advanced analytics.
- Strong communication skills are essential for client and internal interactions.
- Fluency in English is a mandatory requirement.
- Experience with project management tools.
- Demonstrated structured and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to thrive within a dynamic, multi-stakeholder environment.
