What a Typical Day Could Look Like?

As a Service Technician, you'll work closely with the Service Manager while operating daily maintenance tasks under guidance. You will ensure resident homes are well maintained, the community runs smoothly, and vacant homes are fully prepared for future residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to resident maintenance requests and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents.
• Organize and inventory maintenance equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Assist in community inspections and maintain clean surroundings.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hour emergencies.
• Act as Service Manager backup and support special maintenance projects.

Requirements

• 2-4 years experience in apartment home repair including general carpentry, basic plumbing, basic electrical, and mechanical repairs.
• Bilingual in Spanish/English is preferred.
• EPA and HVAC certifications, or willingness to obtain them.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety rules and regulations.
• Excellent customer service with a resident-focused mentality.
• Flexibility with scheduling and on-call availability for emergencies.

Additional Information
