About Your Role

The Assistant Manager, Fund Administration role is an exciting opportunity in a fast-paced start-up environment. Join our team to help build and transform our Fund Administration service offering for Private Markets. You will work closely with customers, fund accounting, Investor Services, and Onboarding teams to deliver robust fund accounting and reporting services.

What You’ll Do

  • Support key decisions on team buildout and operational policies.
  • Define and implement efficient fund administration workflows.
  • Identify product development opportunities and relay technical feedback.
  • Train and manage a team of fund accountants.
  • Interface directly with clients ensuring an excellent experience.
  • Perform rigorous accounting, analytical, and financial reporting duties.
  • Review investor allocations, waterfall calculations, and capital calls/distributions.
  • Prepare asset- and fund-level performance metrics such as IRRs and TVPI.
  • Assist with annual audits, regulatory reporting, and tax return support.
  • Research and interpret recent accounting developments.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of fund accounting or audit experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Exposure to complex fund structures and performance metrics.
  • Experience with annual reporting and audited financial statements.
  • Passion for using technology to improve business operations.
  • Strong strategic thinking with an ability to manage details.
  • Able to handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and taking ownership of work.
