Through strategic investments, cutting-edge technology, and close collaboration with global teams, the onshore technology team plays a critical role in supporting business growth in India.
Job Summary
As a Technology Support Vice President, you will lead strategic initiatives to support the APAC Currencies and Fixed Income business, navigating complex technology landscapes and managing the end-to-end technology stack. You will align solutions with global standards, meet local regulatory requirements, enhance onshore operations, and strengthen regional support and operational resilience for APAC Branches.
Job Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with the business and corporate functions, understand commercial goals and risk control requirements, and design technology solutions fit for APAC markets and the regulatory environment.
- Collaborate on and influence strategic programs to align with business goals and global technology guidelines. Reinforce the stability, resiliency, and controls standard of the firm.
- Manage and oversee the operations of the onshore tech teams. Provide constructive oversight into large-scale technology programs. Communicate effectively across all levels. Accountable for key decisions and issue escalation. Drive the team’s continuous improvement.
- Support APAC Branches and drive operational resilience: Play a key role in managing and supporting workloads for APAC Branches, enabling efficient offshore operations. Leverage India’s expertise and capacity to ensure continuity, resilience, and high service levels for APAC-wide technology support, while reducing burnout risk and enhancing operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Strong knowledge of the Currencies and Fixed Income business products.
- Experience in directly facing local exchanges, regulators, and external audit.
- Fulfillment of all necessary regulatory licenses and requirements (RBI, and other regulators).
- At least 10 years of experience in information technology with hands-on experience supporting front office trading systems.
- Track record of managing complex programs and collaborating with global teams.
- Strong reasoning, influencing skills, and ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Proven experience in developing integrated solutions that combine in-house applications with third-party vendor products.
- Experience in managing local regulatory requirements and inquiries in association with Technology systems.
