About the Role

Propel operational success with your expertise in technology support and a commitment to continuous improvement. As a Senior Technology Support Engineer in the Securities Services Technology team, you will ensure the operational stability, availability, and performance of our production application flows. Encourage a culture of continuous improvement as you troubleshoot, maintain, identify, escalate, and resolve production service interruptions for all internally and externally developed systems, leading to a seamless user experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provides end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery to enable successful business operations of the firm.
  • Supports the day-to-day maintenance of the firm’s systems to ensure operational stability and availability.
  • Assists in the monitoring of production environments for anomalies and addresses issues utilizing tools like Geneos, Splunk, etc.
  • Identifies issues for escalation and communication, and provides solutions to business and technology stakeholders.
  • Analyzes complex situations and trends to anticipate and solve incident, problem, and change management in support of full-stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructure.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services.
  • Experience using telemetry & application performance monitoring tools such as: Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana, ITRS Geneos.
  • Managing production technology incidents to resolution, ensuring timely engagement, escalation and effective communication to business, technology and vendor partners.
  • A proven track record of running Incident & Problem Management calls for business impacting outages, performing post incident analysis, identifying & implementing preventative measures and lessons learned following outages.
  • Knowledge on Trade Life cycle, Position Management, Valuation, Asset Servicing.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages and/or automation scripting (Python/Java).
  • Working understanding of public cloud.
  • AWS experience & certification: experience with core AWS services such as: EC2, S3, EKS, RDS, Cloudwatch & DataDog.
  • Expertise in Excel, Macro and PowerPoint.
