Role Summary
In this role as Risk Management Quant Modeling Lead Vice President, you will be responsible for assessing and mitigating risks associated with complex models used for valuation, risk measurement, capital calculation, and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Review complex credit, interest rate, and equity pricing models.
- Analyze model design and conceptual soundness.
- Develop alternative model benchmarks and performance metrics.
- Continuously evaluate model performance and compliance.
- Serve as the primary business point of contact for model implementations.
- Collaborate with model developers, Risk, and Valuation Control Groups.
- Manage and mentor junior team members.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline.
- Expertise in probability, statistics, and numerical analysis.
- Deep knowledge of option pricing and quantitative models.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ or Python.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Experience in front office model development or model review.
