Product Manager, Data Publishing and Processing at JPMorganChase

As a Product Manager, Data Publishing and Processing within DPP, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the strategy for a unified data sharing framework. You will champion the voice of the customer, guiding publishers to the optimal sharing method for each use case—whether that means zero-copy access, external tables, governed APIs, or high-performance replication. Leveraging your expertise, you will lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and continuous improvement, ensuring our solutions balance performance, cost, security, and compliance. You will collaborate with engineering, governance, and business partners to deliver a seamless, one-stop data sharing experience that integrates entitlements, data contracts, and cost optimization, and supports both internal and external data consumers.
Job Responsibilities
- Develops a product strategy and vision for data sharing that delivers value to both data publishers and consumers, supporting a wide range of consumption platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, APIs, external partners)
- Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer needs and integrate them into the data sharing product roadmap
- Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development of a unified, intelligent data sharing framework, supporting features such as platform-specific sharing patterns, entitlements, data contracts, and cost optimization
- Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as time-to-data, cost efficiency, compliance, and user satisfaction
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- 10+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area (data platforms, data governance, analytics, or cloud)
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- AWS solutioning experience across big data domain services (e.g., EKS, Glue, S3, EventBridge, Lambda, Flink)
- Experience with data lake architectures and modern data sharing patterns (e.g., Iceberg, Snowflake, zero-copy sharing)
- Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration and event-driven architecture
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
- Experience with data sharing, data governance, or data platform products in the financial services industry
- Familiarity with modern data architectures, data contracts, entitlements, and cost optimization in cloud or hybrid environments
- Hands on experience across common consumption platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks)
- Knowledge of data cataloging, metadata management, and entitlement services
- Familiarity with API-first product design and integration patterns
- Understanding of security, privacy, and compliance requirements for financial enterprise data sharing
