Overview: Product Delivery Associate at JPMorganChase

As an Associate within the Product Delivery & Project Management team at JPMorganChase, you will provide advanced project support for large-scale product initiatives and independently manage smaller product & technology-related projects. Reporting to the Vice President of Product Delivery Project Management, you will collaborate with VPs and other senior leaders, applying your project management expertise to deliver product & technology solutions, resolve issues, and achieve critical business results. This role is ideal for professionals with a proven history of managing projects and a dedication to enhancing their project management skills, including pursuing a PMP certification if not already held. The Product Delivery Associate is expected to operate with a high degree of independence, proactively identifying and driving initiatives to successful completion.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced support to major product & technology programs and initiatives, including project planning, coordination, and execution across the product lifecycle.
  • Independently manage smaller projects or complex workstreams, from initiation through launch and post-launch, with limited oversight.
  • Develop and maintain product project documentation, including roadmaps, timelines, risk logs, JIRA deliverables, and status reports.
  • Analyze business processes and customer needs, gather requirements, and document user stories to inform product & technology solutions and enhancements.
  • Conduct data analysis to support product decision-making and measure project and product outcomes.
  • Identify, track, and escalate product project risks and issues; drive resolution in partnership with stakeholders.
  • Lead or coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), product commercialization, and post-launch activities for assigned projects.
  • Contribute to process improvement, automation, and innovation initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver clear project updates and presentations to stakeholders and management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, business, technology, and design groups, to achieve project goals.
  • Demonstrate initiative and ownership by proactively identifying opportunities, solving problems, and driving product projects forward independently.
  • Commitment to Professional Development: Actively work towards obtaining a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification if not already held.

Candidate Requirements

  • College or university degree required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in product project management or related roles, with a proven track record of independently managing product or technology projects or significant product workstreams.
  • Experience supporting large-scale product initiatives and collaborating with senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, with limited oversight.
  • High degree of initiative, ownership, and accountability.
  • Commitment to pursuing a PMP certification if not already obtained.
