About the Role: Payments Strategy & Transformation Senior Associate at JPMorganChase
Join the J.P. Morgan Payments Transformation and Execution team, a group dedicated to helping senior management define and execute their global transformation agenda. This includes shaping business strategy, driving high-priority change initiatives like market expansion and operating model optimization, and partnering with senior executives to articulate strategy internally and externally.
As a Business Transformation Associate within Payments, you will lead strategic projects, analyze data, conduct financial modeling, develop compelling presentations, execute strategies, and foster collaboration across multiple projects within J.P. Morgan Payments.
The Transformation team is highly impactful, working directly with J.P. Morgan Payments' global management on their top priorities and collaborating across lines of business on broader payments initiatives for J.P. Morgan Chase.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives and projects to solve diverse problems identified by J.P. Morgan Payments senior management.
- Gather, synthesize, analyze, and present project data and findings.
- Model financial scenarios and perform valuation analysis.
- Execute creative analyses to identify issues and recommend solutions.
- Develop strategic presentations for both internal and external audiences.
- Execute on the market expansion strategy.
- Monitor industry trends and share insightful reports with the team and senior executives.
- Contribute to a collaborative and mutually responsible environment.
- Simultaneously manage multiple projects across J.P. Morgan Payments.
Required Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities
- 3+ years of experience from a premier management consulting firm, a payments firm (in strategy, product management, or sales), or an investment banking division (in M&A, Coverage, Capital Markets, or Equity Research).
- Strong interest in payments is required.
- Ability to work and think independently, demonstrating strong initiative and a team-oriented attitude.
- Diverse problem-solving experience, ideally from a top management consulting firm or similar generalist problem-solving roles within financial services.
- Outstanding ability to analyze problems, apply quantitative approaches, and communicate effectively and confidently (both orally and in writing).
- Openness to an environment of active developmental feedback from peers.
- Excellent and efficient skills using MS Excel and PowerPoint tools.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities
- Prior payments experience.
