About the Role

Join JPMorganChase's high end 270 Park Culinary Team as a Pastry Sous Chef. In this role, you will be responsible for all pastry menu execution and development, overseeing a team of Pastry Cooks to produce high-quality pastries and desserts.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure excellence and timely service in the Pastry Department.
  • Create and organize daily production lists based on business demands.
  • Research and develop new desserts and bakery items.
  • Prepare a variety of patisserie items and breads using traditional and modern recipes.
  • Ensure quality control of ingredients, equipment, and presentation according to JPMC standards.
  • Maintain inventory with proper labeling, dating, and rotation.
  • Follow sanitation principles and adhere to food preparation standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong passion for desserts and hospitality.
  • Exceptional work ethic, efficiency, and focus.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for prolonged periods.
  • Knowledge of baking, pastry production, and sanitation protocols.

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to work in a high-pressure, organized environment both independently and as part of a team.
