About the Role

As a Lead Security Engineer Full Stack Developer at JPMorgan Chase, you are an integral part of a team that delivers software solutions which satisfy pre-defined functional and user requirements while preventing misuse, circumvention, and malicious behavior.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute software engineering solutions with design, development, and troubleshooting.
- Lead the strategy for our UI estate, ensuring best practices in UX and backend integration.
- Design and implement user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.
- Architect and implement cloud-based solutions on AWS ensuring scalability and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high quality solutions.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
- Write clean code following Test Driven Development and rigorous testing standards.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor team members.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in software engineering, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years applied experience with formal training/certification in software engineering.
- Proficient in Typescript, JavaScript (React) and CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Material UI, Tailwind CSS).
- Experience building scalable microservices and proficient in SQL and Python.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of API protocols including REST and GraphQL.
- Experience with containerization and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and DevOps best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with big-data technologies such as Splunk, Trino, and Apache Iceberg.
- Data Science and AI/ML experience.
- AWS certification preferred.
