About the Role: International Equities Investment Specialist, Executive Director at JPMorganChase
The International Equities Investment Specialist, Executive Director role is a pivotal position within JPMorganChase's International Equity business, which manages approximately $240 billion in client assets globally. This role primarily involves representing investment teams and strategies to a diverse audience, including internal partners, prospective clients, and existing investors. The core objective is to strategically position and message investment products to drive new business acquisition, retain assets, and deliver exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a primary liaison for multiple investment teams and strategies, engaging with internal partners, prospects, and clients across institutional and advisor businesses.
- Cultivate strong collaborative relationships with portfolio managers, research analysts, and other investors to ensure strategic alignment and achieve shared objectives.
- Develop and articulate compelling product messaging designed to stimulate new business growth, safeguard existing assets, and significantly enhance client satisfaction.
- Leverage profound capital markets expertise to effectively communicate insights on macroeconomic landscapes, evolving industry trends, and pertinent current events.
- Drive new product initiatives from conception to implementation, fostering consensus among product development, distribution management, and portfolio management teams.
- Oversee the comprehensive client onboarding lifecycle, including critical negotiations for investment management agreements, fee structures, client reporting protocols, and investment guidelines.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Over 8 years of substantial capital markets experience, coupled with a deep understanding of the financial services industry.
- Possession of Series 7 and Series 63 licenses is mandatory for this position.
- Proven track record of delivering impactful presentations to large and diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated proficiency in project management and the successful execution of strategic initiatives.
- Robust knowledge of international equities markets.
- Exceptional capabilities in written communication.
- Expertise in investment performance analysis, performance composites, attribution methodologies, and managing advisory/model delivery relationships.
- Authorization to work permanently in the U.S. is required.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- CFA designation or a comparable professional certification is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Python is an advantage.
- A self-motivated, confident, and collaborative team player with strong people management skills and a strategic vision.
- Creative and flexible approach to problem-solving, with the ability to adapt messaging based on audience and market dynamics.
- Strong interpersonal skills crucial for effective collaboration with various groups within JPMAM.
