About the role

Global Intelligence Associate

The Global Intelligence team within Global Security at JPMC is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and assessing global threats that could impact the firm’s people, assets, and operations. They provide actionable intelligence and strategic insights to support risk mitigation and informed decision-making across the organization. As a Global Intelligence Associate on the Global Intelligence team, you will be responsible for conducting all source intelligence connection and analysis of novel physical security risks. You will also leverage open-source intelligence (OSINT) collection and analysis, including social media, third-party and vendor platforms to evaluate threats that may impact the Firm's people, assets, events, and reputation; their likelihood; and their potential tactical and operational impact and strategic implications. This role is focused on physical security-related threats, including some that may intersect with cyber threats.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct all source intelligence collection and analysis to identify, assess, and prioritize novel physical security risks, such as mis/dis/mal information narratives and other influence operations
  • Lead proactive threat identification, with a special focus on Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) techniques, using social media, public records, and third-party databases to build leads and provide support to Global Security operations
  • Ensure the safety of senior Firm executives through the collection, investigation, and analysis of threat data
  • Execute the executive threat intelligence mission by employing open-source intelligence techniques, including social media listening tools, public records research, and vendor platforms.
  • Collaborate with the broader Global Intelligence team, as necessary; work cross functionally with other JPMC teams tracking novel technology-enabled threats, including Cyber Security Technology & Controls
  • Assist in crafting and maintaining active and passive search feeds and establishing escalation workflows per stakeholder and self-identified collection requirements
  • Direct and maintain persistent collection in support of key intelligence requirements
  • Deliver analytical assessments in clear, succinct, and appropriately caveated products that project credibility, convey recommendations, and reinforce key messages
