Overview

The Global Finance & Business Management Apprenticeship Program is a 2-year opportunity for passionate final year students to kick-start their careers in finance while undertaking a mandatory Level 4 AAT professional accountancy qualification.

Role Description

As an Apprentice, you will work across various lines of business, including Product Control, Legal Entity Control, Financial Control, Planning and Analysis, Regulatory Reporting & Capital Policy, Program Management, and Business Management. You will be involved in driving growth, ensuring operational effectiveness, managing risk, and supporting the firm's global reputation for excellence.

Learning & Development

This program offers structured industry training, in-depth mentorship, and hands-on experience to refine your technical, analytical, and leadership skills. Top performing Apprentices have opportunities for promotion to Analyst level and may advance into the Global Finance and Business Management Graduate Program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support trading desks and financial control functions.
  • Engage in rotations across multiple finance teams.
  • Assist with financial oversight, reporting, and variance analysis.
  • Contribute to strategic business initiatives and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in video interviews via HireVue and complete application milestones.

Required Qualifications & Skills

A strong academic background with at least 5 GCSEs (including Maths and English) plus 3 A-levels (or equivalent). Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required, along with a basic understanding of financial statements and accounting procedures. Leadership abilities and outside interests that add value to the team are highly regarded.
