Job Overview
The Data Science Gen AI Developer Vice President is a strategic role within JPMorganChase's Transformation and Analytics team. In this role, you will drive solutions in data science and large language model (LLM) development to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and patterns.
- Identify critical data sources that drive business impact.
- Define scope, set priorities, and coordinate activities with product owners.
- Design and build data mining queries for large structured and unstructured datasets.
- Develop data visualization and storytelling techniques to present actionable insights.
- Architect and deploy solutions using Gen AI and Agentic AI technologies.
- Drive research and development initiatives to innovate solutions.
- Translate model outputs into user-friendly analytics.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Candidates must have over 10 years of experience in data-related projects and at least 3 years in Data Science/AI. Required skills include statistics, exploratory and regression analysis, proficiency with LLM frameworks (Langchain, LLamaIndex, AutoGen, ReAct, GPT, Claude), agentic AI patterns, and experience deploying production solutions. A strong foundation in SQL, Python, and related technologies is also essential.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in complex ETL development, data querying (SQL on platforms like Snowflake and Databricks), CI/CD pipelines, and additional Python packages is advantageous.
