Overview
JPMorganChase is seeking a Data Owner to create plans for the development and delivery of product data for strategic business objectives, operations, advanced analytics, and reporting.
Duties
The Data Owner will:
- Create plans for product data development and delivery.
- Document data definitions, metadata, and classification to support business understanding and control.
- Collaborate with business and agile technology teams for robust cloud-based data solutions.
- Modernize infrastructure and enable self-service analytics platforms.
- Document requirements regarding data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
- Coordinate resources to meet data quality needs.
- Document processes to identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks including protection, retention, storage, and use.
- Read entity diagrams ensuring alignment with design specifications.
- Comply with firm-wide policies and standards to protect data integrity.
Qualifications
A Master's degree in Business Analytics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science or related field and at least 1 year of relevant experience including roles as Data Owner, Data/Risk Analyst or similar. Experience with database technologies (Teradata, Oracle, Snowflake, AWS EMR), programming in SQL and Python, and advanced Excel functionalities is required.
