About the Role

The Conversation Design Senior Associate at JPMorganChase contributes to innovative experience design by blending user needs with business goals in the dynamic financial services environment. As a key member of the Chase Digital Assistant Team, you will shape user experience through conversational AI, design conversational flows, and drive strategic alignment with AI/ML initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design elegant solutions for interaction challenges across products.
  • Create conversational flows for AI-driven tools like chatbots and IVRs.
  • Leverage expertise in language models (NLU and LLM) for design strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including ML, product, and UX experts.
  • Conduct data driven analyses to inform design decisions.
  • Incorporate inclusive design principles and accessibility guidelines.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years in user experience design with proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite. Proven experience in conversation design and optimizing user experiences across multiple platforms. Ability to work autonomously in an agile environment and strong technical literacy regarding client-side technologies and APIs.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with conversation design software such as Voiceflow, Nuance Mix, and Rasa Studio. Familiarity with prompt engineering and designing for LLMs. Background in designing conversational interfaces for finance and banking, alongside experience with Agile development processes.
