The Strategy Group at JPMorganChase functions as an internal consulting arm, dedicated to projects that shape the firm’s strategic priorities. This involves a diverse range of initiatives, including developing international growth strategies, evaluating and planning for new product and market entry, conducting strategic business deep dives, managing strategic investments, enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness, setting technology and operations strategy, guiding the firm’s acquisitions/divestitures strategy, and designing cross-line-of-business initiatives.

As an Analyst in the Strategy team, you will collaborate with project managers to lead strategic planning, business analysis, and other internal consulting projects. Your support will be crucial in assisting senior management with making critical business decisions, providing extensive opportunities to engage with numerous initiatives across the organization.

You'll make an impact by

• Supporting the group on high-priority projects identified by senior managers of JPMC.
• Playing an active role in all aspects of engagement execution and project delivery.
• Analyzing complex information, formulating and rigorously testing hypotheses, and executing creative analyses.
• Providing actionable insights to identify key issues and developing and clearly communicating strategic recommendations.
• Sharing crucial market intelligence summaries with both internal teams and senior management.
• Developing in-depth product, business, and industry knowledge and leveraging this expertise for all deliverables.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills

• Strong interest in pursuing a long-term career within the financial services industry.
• Excellent research and analysis skills, coupled with a robust ability to synthesize and interpret complex data.
• A keen ability to identify key implications ('so what’s') from data and effectively present results to management.
• An outstanding ability to analyze problems comprehensively, apply quantitative analytical approaches, communicate effectively and confidently (both orally and in writing), and collaborate seamlessly in cross-functional teams.
• The capacity to quickly learn and understand new concepts and business models.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating effective prioritization skills to meet a complex set of business demands and deliver against multiple objectives.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills are essential for this role.
