About the Role

As a Trade Implementation Strategist at Asset Management Trade Implementation Strategist VP role, you will enhance pre-trade analysis, coordinate with internal and external teams, and optimize post trade execution processes to improve client outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct scenario analysis and assess trade sizing, timing, and market conditions.
  • Translate asset manager instructions into proposals aligning with client guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with trading teams to assess block allocations, step-outs, and rotations.
  • Monitor transaction costs, slippage and market impact to improve strategies.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers, client service, operations, and compliance teams to ensure seamless trade workflows.
  • Develop process enhancements, technology solutions, and oversight frameworks.
  • Provide oversight reporting on trading activity, best execution, and trade implementation risks.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 6+ years of experience in trading, portfolio implementation, or investment operations.
  • Strong understanding of equity, fixed income, and/or derivative market structures.
  • Proven track record partnering with asset managers and traders.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in trading systems, OMS/EMS platforms, and advanced Excel.
  • Familiarity with transaction cost analysis (TCA).
