The Transformation Group drives large-scale change initiatives within the Digital & Platform Services (D&PS) organization. The Applied AI-ML for Payments group specifically focuses on developing and deploying AI/ML solutions to enhance payment processes, automate tasks, and increase operational efficiency. The PMO manages the portfolio of programs and projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, supporting operations, tracking progress, and communicating with stakeholders. They define project lifecycles, ensure compliance, and act as a central control point for senior management reporting.Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Senior Program Managers to define the strategic direction of AI-ML initiatives in Payments.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify and prioritize opportunities for AI/ML-driven improvements and automation.
- Define and implement program governance for AI-ML projects across operations.
- Manage the execution lifecycle and data attribute requirements for new AI/ML solutions, ensuring compliance with firmwide controls and SDLC.
- Develop a deep understanding of firmwide controls standards and ensure project documentation meets compliance requirements.
- Oversee project progress, proactively identifying risks and assisting with issue resolution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all queries related to the AI-ML project execution lifecycle.
- Support program governance and own key messaging to stakeholders and senior management through Steering Committees and PCCs.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management, conveying strategy, progress, and key updates.
- Leverage business intelligence tools (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau) to analyze program data for reporting, build program metrics, and key risk indicators.
- Drive the automation of reporting extracts from centralized data sources.
- Manage financial tracking and reporting of investments and benefits across technology and operations.
- Lead selected projects to continuously improve program performance and outcomes.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- 4–6 years of experience in Financial Services, with at least 3 years in Program / Project Management or PMO roles.
- Proven track record in project/change management delivery and PMO analysis within a Financial Services environment.
- Experience managing a large portfolio of projects, maintaining momentum, and achieving targets.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.
- Advanced analytical skills, including experience with large data sets and synthesizing insights for decision-making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop compelling storyboards and presentations for senior management.
- Solid understanding of project lifecycle management, supporting documentation, and control requirements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Project).
- Experience with execution lifecycle management and data attribute requirements in JIRA.
- Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools (Alteryx, QlikView, Tableau) to support automation initiatives.
