Overview
The AML KYC Associate plays a key role in the first line of defence for customer and fund investor onboarding for JPMorganChase's Luxembourg domiciled funds. This role involves carrying out due diligence in line with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform customer due diligence and update KYC records
- Conduct periodic reviews and refresh due diligence documentation
- Respond to stakeholder queries and resolve screening alerts
- Research and analyze AML and regulatory topics
- Enhance procedures as per regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with Transfer Agents for account openings
- Support departmental roadmap and process improvements
Required Qualifications and Skills
Applicants should demonstrate strong client service skills, risk aversion, adaptability, high aptitude, effective communication, analytical thinking, teamwork, and problem solving. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required along with familiarity with Asset Management and compliance principles in the financial sector. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in AML KYC Compliance and holding an AML qualification are preferred.
