Position Overview
As an Alternative Investment Fund Controller - VP within JPMorganChase Wealth Management Solutions Group, you will oversee accounting, reporting and financial statements for alternative investment products. You will work closely with third party service providers, internal stakeholders, and contribute to fund launches and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee third party fund administrators.
- Review NAVs, capital allocations, calls, distributions, and fee calculations.
- Coordinate with auditors and fund administrators for financial statement issuance.
- Ensure regulatory and financial compliance for internal and external reporting.
- Prepare fund expense forecasts and coordinate payments in compliance with policy.
- Collaborate with tax, investor relations, and middle office teams.
- Respond to investor, internal, and external queries.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and training to the team.
- Participate in ad hoc projects and fund launches.
Qualifications / Skills
A deep understanding of US GAAP and IFRS with 8+ years' experience in private equity and/or hedge fund accounting is required. A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is mandatory, along with strong written and communication skills.
