About the Role

Embrace the challenge of steering complex tech projects, fostering growth and technical excellence in a dynamic environment. Join the Strategic AI Governance and Enablement (SAIGE) team. The SAIGE team is dedicated to driving operational efficiencies and supporting JPMorganChase’s AI/ML objectives by promoting innovation and upholding the highest ethical and regulatory standards.

As an AI Strategy & Enablement Director in the Strategic AI Governance & Enablement team, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the integration of AI into production environments, ensuring that they are scalable, reliable, and user-friendly. Additionally, you will help drive the team strategy and direction for how the team works.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project plans for strategic priorities in AI governance and firmwide reusable solutions.
  • Provide transparency and alignment across strategic priorities through quarterly business reviews, highlighting progress, resource allocation, budget usage, and key risks.
  • Engage internal business stakeholders and clients to spread awareness and education on the CDAO framework, AI/ML technologies, and the AI/ML landscape (Brand recognition).
  • Support the SAIGE rebrand by strengthening team culture and operating model, fostering collaboration, professional development, and recognition.
  • Maintain oversight of the CDAO - SAIGE Business Resiliency Plan, ensuring documentation and testing are complete, accurate, and aligned with business impact analysis.
  • Support client inquiries for CAO related topics and partner with LOB’s on timely responses.
  • Leverage strong project management skills to ensure each project follows the defined lifecycle, with agreed upon roles and responsibilities across technology teams and business units.
  • Propose and implement improvements to integration and governance processes and tools.
  • Guide training and resources to employees on AI governance, ethical considerations, and best practices while fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Execute governance frameworks and processes to ensure effective oversight of the LLM lifecycle.
  • Produce reporting and MIS for program governance forums, senior management, and wider stakeholder groups.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and 10 years applicable experience.
  • Proven experience in integrating AI models into production environments.
  • Strong background in software engineering and development lifecycle.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and programming languages such as Python.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
  • Understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms.
  • Well organized, detail oriented, process driven and able to work systematically.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate between multiple teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
