Opportunity Overview
We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Software Engineer III at JPMorganChase within the CCB. In this role, you will help design and deliver trusted, market-leading technology products that are secure, stable, and scalable.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces using React JS and TypeScript.
- Create wireframes and UI mockups for clear design communication.
- Collaborate with external partners, product teams, and business stakeholders on UI requirements.
- Engage in code reviews, pair programming, and ensuring best coding practices.
- Develop secure, high-quality production code and maintain synchronous system algorithms.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications.
- Analyze data sets to create visualizations and reports enhancing application performance.
- Contribute to a team culture emphasizing diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
Required Qualifications
- Over 3 years of experience with TypeScript and React JS.
- More than 1 year of API development using Python.
- Formal training or certification in software engineering.
- Experience in large corporate environments with modern programming and database querying languages.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, resiliency, and security.
- Proficient with RESTful API development and tools like Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
- Experience with unit testing using Jest and integration testing with Cypress.
- Exposure to cloud technologies and AWS-based API development.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform.
- Ability to optimize API deployments for cost-efficiency, scalability, and performance.
