Overview
As a Software Engineer III - UI Developer at JPMorganChase within the CCB, you will be a seasoned member of an agile team designing and delivering secure, stable, and scalable technology products. You will work on building user interfaces with React JS and TypeScript, crafting API solutions using Python, and leveraging AWS cloud services.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces using React JS and TypeScript.
- Create wireframes and UI mockups for effective design communication.
- Collaborate with external partners, product teams, and business stakeholders.
- Engage in code reviews, pair programming, and adhere to coding standards.
- Develop secure, production-quality code and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications.
- Analyze and visualize large data sets to improve software systems.
- Contribute to a culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect.
Required Qualifications
- Over 3 years of experience with TypeScript and React JS.
- More than 1 year of experience in API development using Python.
- Formal training or certification in software engineering with practical experience.
- Experience with agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- Proficiency in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a corporate environment.
- Strong grasp of API development (RESTful) and familiarity with tools like Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with modern front-end technologies and testing frameworks like Jest and Cypress.
- Exposure to cloud technologies, especially AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, etc.).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
- Ability to optimize API deployments for cost-efficiency, scalability, and performance.
