About the Role

Step into the role of a Principal Architect at JPMorganChase and become a driving force behind the development and adoption of cutting-edge, cloud-based technologies. In this role, you will provide expertise to enhance and develop architecture platforms within the Corporate Technology Corporate Oversight & Governance Technology (COGT) team, supporting the adoption of strategic global solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Advise cross-functional teams on technology selection and improvements.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to translate strategic goals into architectural plans.
  • Propose innovative solutions to maintain competitive edge.
  • Integrate business architecture with enterprise domains: applications, data, infrastructure, and security.
  • Create high-level design artifacts including value streams, business capability models, process models, and data flows.
  • Ensure scalability, maintainability, and alignment with architectural standards.
  • Communicate clearly with business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Enforce architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices across COGT.
  • Serve as the organization’s go-to subject matter expert and champion diversity, inclusion, and respect.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Certification/training in Business Architecture with expert applied experience.
  • Expert experience designing and implementing solutions in complex environments.
  • Strategic thinker with passion for business strategy and processes.
  • Experience in financial services, preferably in Compliance, Controls Management, Regulatory Engagement, or Operational Risk functions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of software architecture and one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, AI, ML, mobile).
  • Excellent presentation and communication abilities with Senior Leaders and Executives.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory initiatives.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and experienced in leading as a Product Owner or Product Manager.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest in innovative technologies such as Generative AI and Agentic AI.
