This unit plays a crucial role in building, operating, and evolving key technological platforms that support critical solutions. The focus is on driving robust DevOps practices and ensuring efficient deployments for a leading Defense company.
Key Responsibilities of a DevOps Engineer with Kubernetes Administration
- Administer various on-premise Kubernetes environments, including OpenShift, Rancher, and MicroK8s.
- Manage, configure, and maintain Kubernetes platforms to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
- Resolve incidents and conduct advanced technical analysis within Kubernetes environments.
- Actively participate in DevOps practices and workflows, leveraging tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and Artifactory.
- Collaborate on the administration of J2EE, Python, and Angular applications integrated into deployment processes.
- Generate high-quality technical documentation and deliverables related to deployments, configurations, and procedures.
- Work closely with development teams to facilitate efficient deployments across Azure and on-premise environments.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience of at least 4 years administering Kubernetes environments in on-premise distributions (OpenShift, Rancher, MicroK8s).
- Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience with DevOps methodologies and tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Artifactory).
- Experience in administering applications built with J2EE, Python, and Angular.
- Strong ability to resolve complex technical problems and perform in-depth analysis of Kubernetes environments.
- Experience in generating clear and concise technical documentation and deliverables.
