About the Role

Joinrs is hiring a Junior HR Generalist for Canonical, a leader in open source software and Ubuntu. This role supports HR activities in the EMEA region and involves dealing with employee relations, policy management, HRIS maintenance, and global projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer employee queries and process employment requests.
  • Maintain HRIS with high accuracy and timeliness.
  • Own global projects such as engagement and training initiatives.
  • Support onboarding, payroll assistance, and benefits enrollment.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure GDPR compliance.

What We Are Looking For

Candidates with an educational background in economics, humanities, law or a related field and some entry-level HR experience. Excellent communication, ability to handle confidential data, and a proactive approach are essential. Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year for internal events is required.
