The Enterprise Project Manager Role Entails
- Ensuring programs and projects are delivered within predefined schedules, scope, cost, budget, and resource expectations.
- Identifying key technical and project risks and issues, and proactively implementing mitigating actions.
- Maintaining a strong customer focus, collaborating with all key stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
- Conducting regular status meetings and business reviews with customers, providing necessary direction.
- Managing the delivery schedule of critical third-party deliverables for each project.
- Advocating for appropriate technologies from Canonical's diverse portfolio to customers.
- Driving overall project success while effectively managing associated risks.
What We Are Looking For In You
- Proven experience in Enterprise IT Programs, Process Improvement, and Software Engineering Project Management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience in leading cross-cultural, remote, and global project teams and customers.
- Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
- Deep understanding of Linux, Open Source, and Cloud Technologies.
- A Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline.
- Project Management Certification, preferably PMP or an equivalent credential.
- Agile Project Management certification, preferably Scrum Master or an equivalent credential.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally for team meetings and events.
