Position Summary

Are you good with your hands and technically savvy? Join Johnston Equipment as a Road Service Technician. You will be responsible for conducting maintenance checks and diagnosing repairs for lift trucks and carousels at customer sites.

How You’ll Make An Impact

As a Road Service Technician, you will:

  • Examine the operational integrity and condition of trucks
  • Identify defective mechanical and electrical parts
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance
  • Diagnose issues using technical manuals and tools
  • Communicate repair solutions to customers

What You’ll Bring To The Table

You should have at least 3-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician or similar. A valid Truck and Coach 310S Certification or Heavy Duty Technician Certification is required. You must have solid knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems of both battery and engine powered equipment, and be comfortable using hand tools, measuring devices, and diagnostic tools. A valid driver's license and strong interpersonal skills are essential.
