Job Summary

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) - Immunology role at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is a field-based position responsible for engaging with key stakeholders and driving scientific exchange within the Immunology therapeutic area across Poland. The MSL acts as a scientific expert, fostering peer-to-peer relationships with Leading Specialists (LS) to discuss products, patient treatment trends, and clinical studies. This role contributes to the medical value of J&J's products and supports innovative therapeutic approaches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a therapeutic area scientific expert, engaging in peer-to-peer discussions with Leading Specialists (LS) about products, treatment trends, and studies.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of relationships with local Leading Specialists, understanding their needs and scientific activities.
  • Communicate the medical value of company products, based on risk-benefit profiles, and contribute to fostering innovative therapeutic approaches.
  • Collect and provide medical insights, including scientific and treatment trends, to strategic Medical Affairs teams.
  • Organize and participate in local Medical Education activities and support the execution of the Medical Affairs Plan.
  • Provide medical and product training and scientific support to field-based commercial staff.
  • Support the strategy, planning, design, and execution of Medical Affairs clinical activities, including registries and non-interventional studies.
  • Manage investigator proposals for Investigator-Initiated Studies (IISs) and support post-marketing surveillance programs.
  • Continuously update knowledge of products, treatment trends, and clinical activities within the immunology therapeutic area.
  • Utilize digital technologies and new media to support communication efforts.

Qualifications

  • Medical Doctor, Pharmaceutical, or Nature Science university degree; MD or Pharmacy degree is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills in both Polish and English (oral, business writing, presenting, listening).
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, execute, and oversee projects effectively.
  • Excellent presentation and influencing skills.
  • Proactive personality with the ability to engage Leading Specialists in a peer-to-peer format.
  • Skill and passion for analyzing and interpreting scientific data and publications.
  • High ethical standards in business and strong customer focus.
  • Pro-active and goal-oriented thinking.
  • Must be comfortable with extensive local field-based interactions.
