Overview

John Sisk & Son Ltd is seeking a Senior Planner to join the Data centre team in Dublin. In this role, you will lead the planning management function across the Sisk group, standardising planning and project controls and reviewing preconstruction and construction phases.

Responsibilities

• Develop baseline contract programme covering design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Create construction (target) programmes and tender event schedules.
• Maintain electronic files and administration of planning documents in the common data environment.
• Provide detailed programme information to support management teams.
• Develop 4D graphical models or 2D phasing plans for build, logistics and sequencing.
• Assist in project prelim books including resource, logistics and temporary works.
• Engage with supply chain regarding design, lead-in activities, construction phases, and labour/plant requirements.
• Review programme risks and opportunities, including float and time risk allowances.

Experience & Qualifications

Applicants must have significant experience in live Data Centre construction projects and a proven ability in creating and managing project schedules, using advanced planning tools and software. Advanced training in Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, Earned Value Management, and basic BIM are essential. A relevant degree or diploma in construction management with industry certifications is desirable. Membership of relevant professional bodies is an advantage.
