Responsibilities
In this remote role based in Moline, IL, you will:
- Conduct end-user research to impact product design.
- Stay updated on emerging research methods and trends.
- Ensure the user voice is present in product development.
- Guide and execute moderate to high complexity research projects.
- Mentor less experienced UX Researchers and share insights.
Required Skills & Experience
Applicants should have experience in:
- Automotive automation research and human-machine interfaces.
- Mixed methods research including simulators, field evaluations, and usability testing.
- Quantitative and qualitative data analysis using SPSS, R, and Python.
- Using specialized tools like Tobii Pro Lab and Empatica E4.
- Iterative design processes in Agile/hybrid environments.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Systems Engineering, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or related field plus related experience.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive base pay ($115,000 - $125,000 per year), performance bonuses, flexible work arrangements, comprehensive healthcare, 401K, tuition assistance, and more.
Additional Information
This position is 100% remote with required domestic travel (50%) to meet customers and visit test sites.
