About the role
About iits
At iits, we provide individual software solutions because every company is unique and has its own goals and challenges. We achieve this through the technical expertise of our teams, who optimize customers' business processes daily and enable tailored digitalization. Our mission is to bring visions to life, understand individual requirements, and develop innovative software.
Your Role
You will be the technical point of contact for new and existing customers in the cloud context, often in collaboration with our cloud provider partners. You will support the successful implementation and stable operation of cloud and container-based platforms (e.g., on Open Telekom Cloud), remove technical hurdles, and translate best practices into secure, repeatable solutions—for instance, through reference architectures, automation, and operational and deployment patterns. You communicate clearly, coordinate meetings, and work independently, structured, and proactively. You capture requirements, set priorities, drive topics independently, and actively contribute suitable solutions.
Your Tasks
- Technical Consulting: Support customers in planning and successful usage in the cloud environment and advise on adoption, operation, and further development.
- Customer-Focused Troubleshooting & Analysis: Record technical problems, prioritize, analyze causes, and develop solutions.
- Enablement & Knowledge Transfer: Plan and moderate workshops, training sessions, and technical deep-dives, tailored to the customer's maturity level.
- Demos & Example Environments: Create reproducible reference setups (e.g., for typical use cases, best practices, architecture patterns).
- Collaboration with Partners: Regular coordination, joint customer meetings, and coordination of requirements and technical topics.
- Proactive Topic Suggestions & Community/Content: Proactively suggest and develop content (e.g., blog articles, community contributions, how-tos, reference implementations) to share best practices scalably and enable customers and partners long-term.
- Feedback into Product & Engineering: Bundle customer insights, identify patterns/trends, and feed them back into the team in a structured manner (bugs, feature requests, documentation gaps).
- Market and Technology Trends: Recognize relevant developments, interpret them for customers/partners, and derive sensible next steps, focusing on real customer problems.
Your Profile
- In-depth practical experience with cloud and cloud-native technologies (focusing on Open Telekom Cloud or OpenStack).
- In-depth knowledge of System Design and Architecture: You can grasp end-to-end contexts, evaluate options, and derive robust solution architectures.
- Good understanding of Kubernetes and common components/patterns.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and deployment tools (e.g., Helm); GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux) is a plus.
- You can explain complex technical issues in a structured manner, both in workshops and calls, as well as in writing.
- You enjoy customer-oriented work, can set priorities, and are comfortable in an environment where topics can arise at short notice.
- Very good German & English skills (min. C1).
Your Benefits
- Professional software development and architecture
- Flat hierarchies and agile thinking & working methods
- Home office / flexible work location (incl. high-end home office equipment)
- Tech Talks & paid further training (incl. language courses)
- Regular company events, workshops, and team activities
- 30 days of vacation, Christmas & New Year's Eve off + additional education days
- Mobility support (Bahncard 50 + Job Rad)
- Family packages (e.g., subsidy for Kita costs)
- Well-being offers (Yoga courses + fitness & wellness offers via Wellpass)
