About the Role: Senior Investment Associate - Manager Research

Our client, a highly regarded Investment firm managing circa $60Bil of AUM, is seeking a talented Senior Investment Associate for their investment team. This role focuses on manager research and portfolio management across a broad range of asset classes.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the manager research effort across diverse asset classes.
  • Conduct rigorous research to develop and maintain investment recommendations.
  • Design long-term asset allocation strategies and oversee derivative overlay strategies.
  • Generate tactical asset allocation ideas and attend client meetings.
  • Integrate risk and return drivers into research and portfolio management processes.
  • Identify outperforming strategies, products and managers for superior returns.
  • Participate in client presentations and provide monthly performance commentary.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence and ongoing monitoring of asset managers.

Background & Experience

The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in an analytical role within the asset management industry, working with multi asset strategies. A strong quantitative aptitude with excellent Excel skills is required. A first class or 2:1 degree from a leading university and progress towards CFA or CAIA qualifications are preferred.
