Performance Analyst

Our client, a highly regarded global equity asset manager, is seeking an experienced Performance Analyst to calculate, maintain, and manipulate performance and risk data for internal use as well as for external clients, prospects, auditors, and custodians.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Produce investment performance and risk data for monthly/quarterly reports.
  • Respond to ad hoc queries from Client Service, Operations, and Investment teams.
  • Update quarterly returns for marketing materials and produce composites.
  • Input data into systems including BiSam BOne, Coric, Factset PA3 and databases.
  • Perform data extraction, review, and reconciliation of custodian returns.
  • Participate in Annual GIPS verification data collection and compliance monitoring.
  • Validate underlying calculation methodologies to industry standards.

Background & Experience

  • 3-6 years within a Performance function at an asset manager.
  • CIPM qualification or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience with Factset, BiSam B1, or equivalent systems.
  • Familiarity with SimCorp Dimension, settlements, cash/stock reconciliations.
  • Strong analytical, numeracy, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of databases/software for investment performance calculations.
