Overview

The GCP Architect Manager position leads the design, delivery, and operation of enterprise-grade cloud solutions. You will drive technical architecture for large-scale Google Cloud projects, manage teams of engineers and architects, and ensure that solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned to business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead architecture and delivery of complex Google Cloud solutions.
  • Design, implement, and optimize secure cloud architectures using Google Cloud services.
  • Oversee and guide technical teams to ensure project success and performance.
  • Develop architecture documentation, design specifications, and operational playbooks.
  • Drive adoption of best practices in cloud governance, automation, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align cloud strategies with organizational goals.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to engineers and junior architects.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Active SC Security Clearance (essential).
  • Professional-level Google Cloud certification.
  • Expertise in Google Cloud Platform services (Compute Engine, App Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, IAM, VPC, etc.).
  • Experience architecting and engineering cloud-based solutions meeting diverse requirements.
  • Strong understanding of cloud networking and security fundamentals.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD automation.
  • Scripting proficiency (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for DevOps integration.
  • Experience leading technical teams with mentorship and delivery oversight.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable

  • Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, hybrid).
  • Familiarity with site reliability engineering (SRE) principles.
  • Experience driving technical transformation and process improvements.

What's on Offer
