DevSecOps Engineer Build and Test Systems

As a DevSecOps Engineer Build and Test Systems at Wibu-Systems AG, you will shape our build and test systems from the ground up. Your ideas will actively contribute to making our software development efficient, secure, and reliable. Responsibilities
- Build & Test Redesign: You plan, configure, and set up our build and test environments – both physical and virtual. You ensure stability, performance, and clear structures.
- Smart Process Design: You support our agile teams in introducing and optimizing build processes and actively evolve workflows.
- Automate First: You consistently drive automation, ensuring a scalable, efficient, and modern infrastructure.
- Tech Stack Advancement: You work with current technologies like Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD, Docker, and Kubernetes – and introduce new ideas for meaningful extensions.
- System Operations: You administer operating systems, servers, and DevOps applications such as GitLab, Rancher, or Proxmox – reliably and securely.
- Intelligent Team Networking: You translate requirements, coordinate boundaries and solutions, and ensure clear communication between development, IT administration, and test teams.
- Deployment Packages: You develop and support the maintenance of operational packages like VM appliances, container images, or Helm charts – and bring creative approaches to automation & deployment.
Requirements
- Successfully completed studies or training in computer science or a comparable technical field.
- Several years of professional experience in the DevOps area and practical experience with common tools.

- Very good knowledge in the administration of operating systems (MS Windows, Linux, or macOS).
- Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong interest or practical experience in virtualization (Proxmox), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), or network technology is an advantage.
- Very good German language skills and good to proficient English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Enjoyment of teamwork and an independent, structured, and reliable way of working.
Team
The team consists of 4 other colleagues of mixed ages.
