About The Business

This is a great opportunity to join a growing, highly motivated distribution team supporting the Head of South and wider Quilter Cheviot Distribution Team. The role is designed for a candidate with an entrepreneurial spirit, sales acumen, and aspirations for career growth within the sales team.

About The Role

In the role of Business Development Executive, you will support the Head of South - Sales in building relationships with advisers from key adviser firms. You will work closely with the QC Business Development Team to execute sales processes, develop a panel of advisers, and promote the company’s products and services.

  • Build relationships with key financial adviser firms.
  • Create and execute contact strategies for adviser panels.
  • Collaborate with Business Development Managers to exploit regional opportunities.
  • Support content management on Distribution Intranet and Training pages.
  • Work towards obtaining a Level 4 industry qualification.

About You

You are self-motivated with relevant sales or distribution experience and a desire to progress into a sales leadership role. The successful candidate will be expected to manage their own workload, deliver remote sales presentations, and work effectively with both the distribution team and wider Quilter colleagues.

Key Behavioural and Technical Skills

The role emphasizes reliability, adaptability, entrepreneurial thinking, independent working, and effective communication. A basic understanding of financial services and willingness to become Level 4 qualified are essential.
