Introduction

SAIC is seeking a, Fully Remote, Web Design Developer to support the HWIL Modeling and Simulation Development (HMSD) contract to develop and program eLearning training products through interactive Web-Based Training (WBT) and Computer-Based Training (CBT) for government and commercial clients.

NOTE: This position is fully Remote / Work from Home.

Job Description

  • Design, develop, and program interactive eLearning training products, including Web-Based Training (WBT) and Computer-Based Training (CBT) for government and commercial clients.
  • Collaborate with team members, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and customers to create engaging training solutions, integrating interactive exercises, animations, graphics, and media.
  • Develop custom client-side code (JavaScript/jQuery, HTML, CSS) for Learning Management System (LMS) deployment, adhering to SCORM and xAPI standards.
  • Stay current with eLearning tools, technologies, and industry trends, delivering high-quality products that meet deadlines and project requirements.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's and two (2)+ years of experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Experience in front-end development such as in JavaScript/jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, and XML.
  • Familiarity with popular frameworks such as AngularJS, React, or Preact.
  • Proficiency in Learning Management System (LMS) integration and SCORM or xAPI authoring, with the ability to write clean, concise, and well-commented code.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles, cross-browser compatibility, and Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Required Clearance

Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance, no clearance required prior to hire; SAIC will help to obtain.

Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
