Vulnerability Management Lead

Overview

The Vulnerability Management Lead position at Vulnerability Management Lead is a role for managing the full lifecycle of vulnerability detection, remediation oversight, and research. This role involves secure baseline compliance, web application security, host-based security, network security, and acting as a subject matter expert in information security.

Responsibilities

• Manage vulnerability detection and remediation using tools like Tenable, DB Protect, Netsparker, and Qualys.
• Oversee the Vulnerability Management lifecycle and program for Fortune 100 enterprises.
• Apply risk management frameworks to design and implement security strategies.
• Conduct manual and automated asset discovery and enumeration.
• Collaborate with teams to improve enterprise cybersecurity, including threat intelligence, penetration testing, and incident response.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Passion for learning about emerging security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Strong understanding of Enterprise Vulnerability management and gap analysis.
• Previous leadership experience and excellent project management skills.
• Technical expertise in networking, operating systems, databases, and web applications.
