Vulnerability Assessment Analyst and Penetration Tester at Aasritha infotech Inc
Aasritha infotech Inc is seeking a skilled Vulnerability Assessment Analyst and Penetration Tester for a long-term contract. This remote position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree, along with a Public Trust clearance. The role focuses on comprehensive technical vulnerability assessments, penetration testing services, and ensuring robust security practices.
As a Vulnerability Assessment Analyst and Penetration Tester, you will support technical vulnerability assessments of applications and infrastructure, conduct vulnerability research, and generate detailed assessment reports. A key aspect of this role involves consolidating penetration testing services into a cohesive program, setting clear rules of engagement, and coordinating and supervising test execution to protect results as CUI//ISVI, ensuring vulnerability remediation meets client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the selection of appropriate technical tests, network or vulnerability scan tools, and/or penetration testing tools based on a thorough review of requirements and purpose.
- List all steps involved for executing selected tests and mentor others in advanced research, development, or scan tool usage and comparative analysis.
- Coordinate or lead teams to conduct ethical tests, network scans, and/or vulnerability scans to evaluate information safeguard effectiveness.
- Perform reconnaissance, target assessment, target selection, and in-depth vulnerability research.
- Utilize COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) tools to conduct or lead teams in vulnerability assessments, analyze results, identify exploitable vulnerabilities, and verify these vulnerabilities through manual assessment.
- Prepare and review assessment documents, validate key findings, and effectively communicate them to stakeholders.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.
Clearance:
- Public Trust clearance is required.
