Overview

As the UX Interaction Designer Commercial Customer Portals, you will ensure that CCP delivers seamless self-service capabilities across four portals. You will manage UX contractors and align perspectives from business executives, product managers, product owners, developers, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate and influence a broad range of stakeholders and guide user experience projects. Your responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with TPMs, business leadership, and CCP teams to integrate business strategies into North Star plans.
  • Driving successful UX design implementation while mentoring junior team members.
  • Defining product vision, roadmap, and multi-quarter development plans.
  • Documenting requirements and testing solutions with cross-functional teams.
  • Utilizing tools such as Figma, Miro, Rally, and other UX software.
  • Ensuring compliance with ITC Sanctions.
  • Applying Lean principles to update and implement standard operating procedures.

Leadership and Influence

In this role, you will influence Business Partners, Engineers, and Designers to align with strategic goals. Responsibilities include:

  • Removing obstacles for team momentum and productivity.
  • Mentoring team members and owning projects to deliver results.
  • Communicating rationale and reflecting on successes and failures.
  • Participating in technical strategy planning.

UX-Specific Responsibilities

You will drive design roadmaps and conduct user research to understand needs, while creating prototypes and wireframes. Tasks include:

  • Driving design and implementation of the roadmap.
  • Conducting user research, participatory design sessions, and validating stakeholder input.
  • Creating annotated prototypes or wireframes to communicate design behavior.
  • Staying current on design, technology, and market trends.
  • Advocating for interaction design best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

Required education and experience include a Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years in professional design experience or equivalent. A minimum of 3 years in professional design is required.

Desired Characteristics and Technical Expertise

Candidates should exhibit a strong understanding of Agile/Lean UX methodologies and demonstrate skills in Adobe CC, OmniGraffle, Sketch, and prototyping tools. Military experience is considered equivalent.
