Job Description
Job Summary
Drevol LLC is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Technical Architect to lead the design and development of world-class web UI applications. This remote position requires a deep understanding of modern UI frameworks, backend technologies, Microservices, and Cloud Native architectures. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience and a strong background in UX/UI and application architecture, driving best practices throughout the SDLC.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and software design for one or more teams, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
- Design and build rich, highly responsive user interfaces using modern frameworks such as AngularJS, ReactJS, TypeScript, and Node.
- Develop and architect backend systems with expertise in functional or higher languages/frameworks like Java, Golang, and Spring.
- Implement and champion agile methodologies and best practices across all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Apply deep familiarity with Microservices, Cloud Native principles, and various Cloud technologies.
- Work with CI/CD and other DevOps tools to streamline development and deployment processes.
- Utilize APM and Observability tools to monitor and maintain application performance and health.
- Design distributed and streaming applications, ensuring high availability and resilience.
- Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable architecture requirements.
- Articulate advanced technical topics effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Estimate the financial impact of various architecture alternatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of experience in building world-class web UI applications.
- Significant expertise in UX/UI architecture and overall Application/Solution architecture.
- Hands-on proficiency in modern UI frameworks including AngularJS, ReactJS, TypeScript, and Node.
- Expert-level coding skills in Java, Golang, Spring, or similar functional/higher languages/frameworks.
- Proven experience leading architecture and software design for development teams.
- Extensive knowledge of Microservices, Cloud Native patterns, and Cloud technologies.
- Experience with agile methodologies and implementing SDLC best practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps tools, APM, and Observability platforms.
- Working knowledge of designing distributed and streaming applications.
- Strong ability to rapidly comprehend and integrate new technologies.
- A balanced approach to considering both long-term strategic implications and short-term tactical decisions.
