Team Lead, Security Governance & Forensics
As the Team Lead, Security Governance & Forensics at PGM – Precision Medical Group, you will spearhead enterprise-wide cybersecurity governance, lead security incident response, and direct digital forensic investigations. This pivotal role ensures the robust management of Identity and Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), vulnerability management, and AI security controls. Your leadership will be crucial in safeguarding organizational assets and upholding stringent regulatory compliance standards.
The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with leadership capabilities to enhance the organization’s overall security posture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end security incident response activities including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Oversee and conduct digital forensic investigations and support legal/e-discovery requirements.
- Manage and enhance IAM and PAM programs to ensure secure access governance and privileged account management.
- Drive vulnerability management lifecycle processes including identification, assessment, prioritization, and remediation tracking.
- Implement, monitor, and maintain Data Loss Prevention (DLP) controls to protect sensitive and regulated data.
- Develop, enforce, and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Legal, Compliance, Risk) to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance oversight to security team members.
- Prepare executive-level reports and briefings on security posture, incidents, and risk exposure.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and industry standards (HIPAA, NIST, ISO 27001, etc.).
- Support AI security controls and governance initiatives to manage emerging risks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in Information Security, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or team lead role.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Incident Response & Digital Forensics
- IAM & PAM solutions
- Vulnerability Management tools
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
- Security governance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS)
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (HIPAA preferred).
- Experience preparing executive-level security reports.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
